The handles are made of impact-resistant PBT, PP or ABS plastic. The screw allows you to adjust the pressure of the blades, as well as make it easier to clean the scissors.

Functional Form series scissors with orange handles (except #859445, 859487, 859992 and 859993) can be sterilized using an autoclave at temperatures up to 137°C.
